Annalisa's Story

I started APEX after spending years working in governance, risk, and compliance across fast-growing and complex organisations.

Time and again, I saw the same pattern. Compliance was treated as a necessary obligation, but the responsibility for delivering it often fell to people without the time, training, or senior backing they needed. Good teams were expected to manage audits, frameworks, and risk alongside demanding day jobs, often under intense pressure.

They cared deeply about doing the right thing. They just did not have the right level of support.

I saw how this affected people. Stress increased, confidence dropped, and compliance became something to fear rather than something that protected the business. In too many cases, it was reactive, fragmented, and driven by urgency rather than strategy.

I founded APEX to offer a different kind of support. APEX was built to give growing businesses access to senior compliance leadership without needing to hire full time. To bring calm, clarity, and structure where there was previously pressure and uncertainty. And to support the people carrying compliance responsibility, not just the frameworks themselves.My belief is simple. When compliance is handled properly, people feel more confident, teams work better, and businesses grow in a healthier way.
